Serena: My mom just left, she’s turning herself in.
Ben: DA already called me to come down.
Serena: She told me it was your mother who took the affidavit.
Ben: Never should have mentioned it. I just, I didn’t think she’d do something like that. But I’m to blame for what happened either way, I’m pretty sure it was Damien who did this.
Serena: Why would he do that? I thought you told him last week you wouldn’t cooperate.
Ben: That’s not exactly what I told him. I got pretty physical with him a while back and I told him what I had done to the Captain. Do ever have a dream and it just feels so real, when you wake up, you just want to lie there with your eyes closed, hold on to it. I barely remember being a teacher at Nightly(?), being with you makes it real, because you remember.
Serena: [nods] I do.
Ben: Maybe it’s time for me to open my eyes and let it go.
Serena: You mean let me go.
Ben: I obviously have a lot to figure out.
Serena: Well that guy I fell for at Nightly, you’re still him, and I can see that even if you can’t. I don’t know, maybe one day when you do… [they kiss, Serena stands up to leave before looking back]
