Blair: So the Dean seemed inscrutable to you, too?
Serena: I don’t think he even blinked.
Blair: Well, since we’re probably both going to end up in Hunter after what happened, I think we ought to say a proper goodbye. [Serena’s phone rings]
Serena: Hello?
Dean Berube: Serena, Dean Berube.
Serena: Oh, hello, sir.
Dean Berube: I just thought that you should know despise events at last night’s reception, I remain most impressed with you. And come time for early acceptances in December, I checked that list to see if your name was on it.
Serena: Okay, but what about Blair?
Dean Berube: Well, like all the other students with Blair’s qualifications, she will learn her fate in the spring. If it’s all right with you, I’d like to issue a press release, that you came up to visit out glorious campus.
Serena: I’m gonna have to call you back. [hangs up] I won’t accept, not like this.
Blair: What? No, you have to! Doesn’t matter how you got it or why, it’s an opportunity.
Serena: No, you’re my best friend. What is mine is yours.
Blair: You can’t share this.
Serena: We’ll find a way, together.
